Congratulations to Kai, an Upper Sixth student at BGS, who has been offered a place to study International Hospitality Management at the prestigious EHL – Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne - in Switzerland this Autumn. EHL is consistently recognised as the world’s number one university in this area and, with an acceptance rate of just over 30%, this is a remarkable achievement.
Kai, originally from Colorado in the USA, joined BGS at the start of Sixth Form, having previously been at the American School of Barcelona and follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme here at BGS.
Kai has seamlessly integrated into the BGS community since his arrival and this achievement is a fitting reward for his dedication and hard work. He says “I am thrilled to have received an offer from EHL and look forward to the next steps towards an exciting career in global hospitality management”.
David Ruck, Head of Higher Education and Careers, adds “Kai has been so focused on this pathway and it has been a pleasure to support him through the process – we are delighted for him”.
